How a wedding quiz works
- 1Write the questions. Start from a wedding template, paste a list from Word or Excel, or let the AI interview ask you about the couple. It only turns the facts you give it into questions; it never makes anything up.
- 2Pick a style. Choose one of five visual styles and an accent colour that matches the wedding, from glittering quiz show to elegant.
- 3Rehearse. Practice mode adds three automatic practice teams, so you can click through the whole quiz before the big day.
- 4Play. On the night, teams scan the QR code on the screen, answers appear live, a drumroll builds the tension and the winning team ends up on a podium with confetti.
Questions only your guests can answer
The best wedding quizzes are about the couple, not about general knowledge. Mix question types so everyone can join in, from the grandparents to the youngest cousins:
- •Guess the couple: ask “Who said I love you first?” and let Anna and Tom answer live on stage. Teams score if they predicted their answer.
- •Photo questions: “Whose baby photo is this?” or a photo reveal of the holiday where it all started.
- •Estimate questions: “How many days have they been together today?” The closest team wins, so nobody needs to know the exact answer.
- •Music question: the song from the first dance. Play it yourself on Spotify or YouTube while the screen counts down.
💡 Use an interlude screen such as “Anna & Tom, come to the front!” right before the guess-the-couple round. It gives the room a moment to gather around.
When to run it during the evening
The sweet spot is after dinner and before the dance floor opens: people are seated, fed and still paying attention. Ten to fifteen questions take about 30 to 45 minutes, which is long enough to be a highlight and short enough to leave the dancing intact. Plan it with the venue so the TV, projector and sound are ready when you need them.
What you need
- •A laptop connected to a TV or projector (usually via HDMI), and sound through the TV or a speaker.
- •An internet connection for the laptop. Venue wifi works, and a phone hotspot is a good backup.
- •Smartphones for the guests: one phone per team is enough.
- •Your own phone to present the quiz. A co-host can help with checking answers.
Building and testing is free, with up to 3 teams and a “DEMO” mark on the screen. When you are happy, unlock the party for a one-off €59: 90 days of access and up to 30 teams. No subscription. See pricing for the details.

Frequently asked questions
Do guests need to install an app?+
No. Guests scan the QR code on the big screen and play in their phone's browser. No app, no account, no email address.
How many guests can play?+
An unlocked party has room for up to 30 teams. Teams of three to six people work best, and one phone per team is enough, so even a large wedding can play together.
Who should be the quizmaster?+
Someone who knows the couple and enjoys a microphone: a witness, a sibling or a close friend. Add co-hosts so that several people can write questions and help on the night.
Can we use the song from our first dance?+
Yes. Upload a short clip you are allowed to use, or choose “play it yourself”: you play the song on Spotify or YouTube and the screen only shows a countdown. At a private party at home this is usually fine; at a venue, the venue's music licence applies.
Can the quiz be in two languages?+
The screen language is chosen per party: English, Dutch, French or German. You write the questions yourself, so for a bilingual wedding you can simply write each question in both languages.
What does it cost?+
Building and testing is free. One party costs a one-off €59 for 90 days of access, with no subscription. You can pay with iDEAL, Bancontact or card.
