A round structure that works
- 1Childhood: baby photos, first school, what they wanted to be when they grew up.
- 2The birth year: music, films, prices and news from the year they were born.
- 3Ask the birthday person: questions they answer live, while teams guess what they will say.
- 4Friends and stories: holidays, embarrassing moments (keep it kind), hobbies.
- 5Finale: an estimate question and a photo reveal from today's party or a favourite old photo.
Plan fifteen to twenty-five questions for 45 to 60 minutes. For a short party, ten questions in half an hour work well too. More ideas: milestone birthday quiz questions.
Questions for 30, 40, 50 or 60
The milestone shapes the quiz. At 30, the questions are about student days, first jobs and festivals. At 40 and 50, think of house moves, children, careers and the music of their teenage years. At 60, the birth-year round gets more nostalgic and the photo questions get more colourful. Estimate questions work at every age: “How many candles have been on all of Sophie's birthday cakes together?”
💡 Let the birthday person play the quizmaster for one round: they ask the questions about themselves, and the guests find out who knows them best.
Make it feel like a show
Pick one of five visual styles and an accent colour, use the soundboard for applause and a drumroll on the big screen, and add soft background music for the lobby while teams scan the QR code. At the end, the winner fanfare plays and the podium rises. You can rehearse everything first with three automatic practice teams.
What you need and what it costs
A laptop connected to a TV or projector, internet, sound, and a smartphone per team. Nobody installs an app or creates an account. Building and testing is free with up to 3 teams and a “DEMO” mark. One party costs a one-off €59, with 90 days of access and up to 30 teams. See pricing.

Frequently asked questions
Can the birthday person play along?+
They can join a team, but most hosts give them a starring role: questions where they answer live on stage and the teams guess what they will say.
How many teams do we need?+
Teams of three to six people work best. A party with twenty guests usually makes four to six teams. An unlocked party allows up to 30 teams.
Can I prepare it with friends?+
Yes. Add co-hosts: they can write questions with you and help present on the night. That way the birthday person does not see the questions in advance.
Does it work at home on a normal TV?+
Yes. Connect your laptop to the TV with an HDMI cable, open the big screen in the browser and make it full-screen. Test the picture and sound the day before.
Can I hold another quiz later?+
Of course. Your next party within a year costs €39, and you can extend a party by 30 days for €19.
